O partido do rei/The King's Party

Desde criança acompanho a trajetória de Pelé e Roberto Carlos, durante o Regime Militar e a hegemonia política - para não dizer também cultural - de Esquerda que o seguiu.

Eles eram chamados carinhosamente de reis do futebol e da juventude, respectivamente. Em respeito a essa deferência singular e unânime por parte do povo, eles procuravam não se envolver politicamente e tomando partido pela direita ou pela esquerda.

Hoje, todavia, testemunhando todo o estrago que os políticos de esquerda fizeram ao país, nos últimos anos e temendo ainda o pior, eles finalmente tomaram posição. Enquanto, em entrevista, o cantor declarou-se contrário ao desarmamento, o atleta por sua vez revelou apoio ao Presidente Bolsonaro.

Veja a que ponto o Brasil chegou com tantos desmandos. Até os "reis" tiveram que tomar partido. Afinal, não se trata de simples questão de governo, mas do futuro e integridade da nação brasileira.

As a child I follow the trajectory of Pelé and Roberto Carlos, during the Military Regime and the political - not to mention cultural - hegemony of the Left that followed him.

They were affectionately called the kings of football and youth respectively. Out of respect for this singular and unanimous deference on the part of the people, they sought not to engage politically and to take sides on the right or the left.

Today, however, witnessing all the damage left-wing politicians have done to the country in recent years and fearing even the worst, they have finally taken a stand. While in an interview, the singer declared himself against disarmament, the athlete in turn revealed support for President Bolsonaro.

See how far Brazil has come with so many mishaps. Even the "kings" had to take sides. After all, it is not a simple matter of government, but of the future and integrity of the Brazilian nation.
