Na noite do último dia dez, segunda-feira, em Lauro de Freitas, o DEM recebeu como novo filiado o empresário Teobaldo Costa que aproveitou para lançar sua pré-candidatura a prefeito da cidade. Na oportunidade, o prefeito de Salvador, ACM Neto, que também é presidente nacional do partido, disse ser “um absurdo” – o que caracterizou como mentira - a prefeita local, do PT, afirmar que a cidade de Salvador quer anexar terras do município.

Ele não é verdadeiramente um político conservador e de direita, mas é o que a capital teve para o gasto nos últimos anos, frente a hegemonia da extrema esquerda em nosso estado. Trata-se de um excelente administrador, não há dúvida quanto a isso. Mas o compromisso maior de Teobaldo Costa deve ser com a cidade que pretende governar e trazer melhorias.

Portanto, desde já, Costa precisa tomar posição ao lado da população local, em questões que também envolvem o interesse de Salvador, para que Lauro de Freitas não seja prejudicada. Um exemplo: se você prestar bem atenção, as intervenções que estão sendo feitas na Av Santos Dumont, com vistas a melhorar o acesso ao novo shopping, não estão de acordo com o projeto do Metrô naquela área - em frente ao shopping - o que nos leva a concluir que o mesmo foi abandonado.

A maquete conjunta do Shopping com o Metrô não prevê a nova passarela que vai ser construída na frente do centro comercial, para facilitar o acesso de quem chega de ônibus no sentido contrário, pois ali já estava previsto um elevado, para a passagem do trem na parte de manobra necessária que vem depois da estação. Imagine a altura que seria da passarela, acima do elevado? Outro problema é a pista que construíram no canteiro central da avenida, para o acesso de carros que vem da região norte da cidade, evitando assim ir até o retorno do Hospital Aeroporto. Mais uma vez, essa nova intervenção se choca também com o projeto do elevado naquela área.

Enquanto essas contradições se evidenciam, o governador Rui Costs já autorizou estudos com o intuito de estender o modal até a Barra. Para o prefeito de Salvador é mais interessante o Metrô chegar ao bairro primeiro do que a Lauro de Freitas, pois essa cidade não é sua responsabilidade. Seria um "absurdo", sim, ele pensar diferente.

Acredito que, a essa altura, a meta da estação Aeroporto já foi cumprida, para que se comece a construção da nossa. Portanto, se nossa cidade não for contemplada com sua primeira estação de Metrô, conforme consta no projeto original, nada garante que vai ser, um dia, agora. Por isso, Teobaldo Costa, comece a abrir os olhos em relação a essa questão, já que pretende se eleger prefeito de Lauro de Freitas. Nossa cidade não pode ser mais tratada como apêndice de Salvador. Não mesmo!

On the night of the last ten days, Monday, in Lauro de Freitas, the DEM received as a new affiliate the businessman Teobaldo Costa who took the opportunity to launch his pre-candidacy for mayor of the city. On the occasion, the mayor of Salvador, ACM Neto, who is also the national president of the party, said that it was “absurd” - what he characterized as a lie - the local mayor of PT, affirming that the city of Salvador wants to annex the lands of the municipality .

He is not truly a conservative and right-wing politician, but he is what the capital has had for spending in recent years, given the hegemony of the extreme left in our state. He is an excellent administrator, there is no doubt about that. But Teobaldo Costa's greatest commitment must be to the city he intends to govern and bring about improvements.

Therefore, from now on, Costa needs to take sides with the local population, on issues that also involve Salvador's interest, so that Lauro de Freitas is not harmed. An example: if you pay close attention, the interventions being made at Av Santos Dumont, with a view to improving access to the new shopping center in Lauro de Freitas, are not in line with the Metro project in that area - in front of the shopping center - which leads us to conclude that it was abandoned.

The joint model of the Shopping Mall and the Metro does not provide for the new walkway they are going to build, in front of the shopping center, to facilitate access for those arriving by bus in the opposite direction, as there was already an elevation for the passage of the train in the back necessary maneuver that comes after the season. Imagine the height of the catwalk, above the elevation? Another problem is the runway they built on the avenue's central construction site, for car access from the northern region of the city, in order to avoid going to the Airport Hospital return. But once again, this new intervention also clashes with the elevation project in that area.

While these contradictions are evident with regard to the Metro project and the improvement of access to the new shopping center in the city, the state governor is already carrying out studies to extend the modal, from Lapa to Barra. For the mayor of Salvador, it is more interesting that the Metro reaches Barra first than Lauro de Freitas, as this city is not his responsibility. It would be "absurd", yes, for him to think differently.

I believe that, at this point, the goal of the Aeroporto station has already been accomplished, so that the construction of ours begins. Therefore, if our city does not have its first Metro station, as stated in the original project, there is no guarantee that it will be, one day, now. Therefore, Teobaldo Costa, start to open your eyes in relation to this issue, since you intend to be elected mayor of Lauro de Freitas. Our city can no longer be treated as an appendix to Salvador. Not even!
