Controle da Cultura nunca mais/Culture control never again

Recentemente em seu perfil do Twitter, o cantor Caetano Veloso publicou um vídeo em que fala em inglês para o mundo, onde ataca o Governo Bolsonaro com mentiras sobre suposta “perseguição” à classe artística e incêndios na Amazônia. Ainda aproveita para enaltecer o filme Democracia em Vertigem, da cineasta mineira Petra Costa, indicado ao Oscar. Trata-se, na prática, de uma sofrível espécie de filme de ficção, em formato  de documentário político, cujo conteúdo lembra a campanha das Diretas Já, em 1984. Um requinte na arte de analisar o contexto apenas pelas lentes da Esquerda, com gosto de café requentado. Pena que a autora seja jovem demais e se preste a tanto.

Como se vê, a cumplicidade da elite artística com os governos petistas, sustentada que foi pela Lei Rouanet, é a própria evidência inequívoca de como e quanto a Cultura esteve sob o controle do Estado, em todo aquele período. A verdadeira arte é espontânea, nasce do povo e é para o povo, não para o sustento exclusivo de uma minoria de parasitas que se diz representante dela. Uma Cultura livre não deve ser patrocinada e consequentemente controlada pelo Estado. Ela deve se autogerir com o apoio da iniciativa privada.

O discurso estéril é e sempre foi a única arma da Esquerda genuína. As suas práticas nunca constaram do rol de seus fiéis aliados. "É sempre bom lembrar", como diria o próprio Chico Buarque, que tanto ele como Caetano Veloso viverem seu auge, profissional e financeiro, dialogando de maneira espertamente oportunista com o contexto de um período do qual não se cansam de denunciar de "ditadura fascista e opressora", o Governo Militar. Agora eles lançam essa mesma pecha sobre o governo Bolsonaro, na maior cara de pau. Tamanho é o desespero pela perda do tratamento vip com que eram tratados pelo Estado, principalmente na Era Petista.

He also takes the opportunity to praise the film Democracia em Vertigem, by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Petra Costa, who follows the same ideological discourse as Esquerda.

As can be seen, the complicity of the artistic elite with PT governments, sustained by the Rouanet Law, is the very unequivocal evidence of how and how much Culture was under the control of the State, throughout that period. True art is spontaneous, born from the people and is for the people, not for the exclusive support of a minority of parasites that claim to represent it. A free culture should not be sponsored and consequently controlled by the state. It must manage itself with the support of the private sector.

Sterile speech is and has always been the only genuine Left weapon. At their practices were never on the list of their faithful allies. "It is always good to remember", as Chico Buarque himself would say, that both he and Caetano Veloso live their peak, professional and financial, dialoguing in a smartly opportunistic way with the context of a period of which they never tire of denouncing "fascist dictatorship" and oppressive ", the Military Government. Now they are throwing that same slap at the Bolsonaro government, in the biggest stick. Such is the desperation for the loss of the VIP treatment with which they were treated by the State, especially in the Petista Era.
