A Igreja votou nessas eleições orientada pela firme convicção de qual dos candidatos representava a vontade de Deus, de acordo com os valores que defendem. 

O resultado saiu, com o candidato considerado vencedor até o momento pelo STE, e nos faz então concluir logicamente que nem sempre será vontade de Deus que um candidato seja eleito, às vezes será simplesmente permissão. 

Contudo, entre a permissão e a vontade de Deus, sempre haverá um povo, seu, que pode e deve clamar excepcionalmente, nesse caso, por livramento, para que Ele se apiede e desvie o mal da nação. Se não fosse assim, Iavé não teria enviado Moisés, Gedeão, Sansão e Davi, dentre outros, para libertar Israel de opressões que não haveriam acontecido sem a sua permissão. 

Por outro lado, livrar o povo do mal sempre foi a vontade de Deus, que é também misericordiosa. Precisamos discernir o grave momento que nos envolve. Houve um movimento de oração e clamor nacionais, antes do primeiro turno, e mais do que nunca deve ser retomado agora, para que Ele nos livre do comunismo.

However, between God's permission and will, there will always be a people, His, who can and should exceptionally cry, in this case, for deliverance, so that He may have mercy and turn away the evil of the nation. Otherwise, Yahweh would not have sent Moses, Gideon, Samson and David, among others, to free Israel from oppressions that would not have happened without his permission. 

On the other hand, delivering people from evil has always been the will of God, who is also merciful. We need to discern the serious moment that surrounds us. There was a national outcry and prayer movement before the first round, and more than ever it must be resumed now, so that He will deliver us from communism.
