Tudo em Todo Lugar ao Mesmo Tempo: onde foi parar o Oscar?/Everything, Everywhere, All At Once: where did the Oscar go?
Criado e dirigido a quatro mãos pelos diretores Daniel Kwan e Daniel Scheinert - catalogado na Amazon Prime Video como "Aventura/Ficção Científica" - Tudo em Todo Lugar ao Mesmo Tempo foi o grande vencedor do Oscar 2023, com 7 estatuetas, incluindo a de Melhor Filme. Contudo, estou assistindo à película em 'conta-gotas', porque ninguém merece! Para minha capacidade cognitiva, ele é terrivelmente surreal. O roteiro é muito "doido" mesmo.
E olhe que achei muitos filmes ganhadores de Oscar ótimos, merecedores da premiação, especialmente os anteriores a 2000. Depois, nem tanto. Mas esse que venceu em 2023 passou de todos os limites de negatividade meritória. Vou dar um exemplo comparativo: é como se o Juventude, último colocado da Série A do Brasileirão 2022, fosse considerado oficialmente o campeão da temporada. Trata-se mais uma vez de um caso típico de inversão de valores: quanto mais pior, "melhor".
A impressão que dá é a de que a obra foi totalmente financiada pelo governo chinês, tamanha forçação aparente de barra, que chega a me fazer desconfiar das intenções do diretor e produtores da fita. Globalismo na veia, digo: no cérebro: desestimular nos jovens a capacidade de raciocinar como indivíduo, concluindo que a realidade é confusa. "Deixe que o Estado - de preferência, Mundial - faça isso por vocês". A ideia é essa.
Para concluir, beleza não é mesmo fundamental, pelo menos nesse enredo. Por outro lado, eu estou longe de ser um intelectual cabeça inteligentinho, a ponto de considerar a película "genial". Muito pelo contrário, filme para mim deve ser belo, alegre, divertido, emocionante, que prime pelos bons valores, e inteligível.

Created and jointly directed by directors Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert - cataloged as "Adventure/Science Fiction" - Everything, Everywhere, All At Once was the big winner of the Oscar 2023, with 7 statuettes, including Best Film (cataloged on Prime Video). However, I'm watching the film in 'dropper', because nobody deserves it! To my cognitive ability, he's terribly surreal. The script is really "crazy".
And look, I found many Oscar-winning films great, deserving of the award, especially those before 2000. Afterwards, not so much. But the one who won in 2023 crossed all limits of meritorious negativity. I'll give you a comparative example: it's as if Juventude, last placed in Série A of the 2022 Brasileirão, were officially considered the champion of the season. Once again, this is a typical case of inversion of values: the worse, the "better".
The impression it gives is that the work was fully financed by the Chinese government, such an apparent forcing of the bar, that it makes me suspicious of the intentions of the director and producers of the tape. Globalism in the vein, I mean: in the brain: discouraging young people from the ability to reason as individuals, concluding that reality is confusing. "Let the State - preferably the World - do it for you." That's the idea.
To conclude, beauty is not really fundamental, at least in this plot. On the other hand, I am far from being a smart head intellectual, to the point of considering the film "genius". Quite the contrary, for me, a film should be beautiful, cheerful, fun, exciting, that strives for good values, and intelligible.
