Top Gun: Maverick estreou nos cinemas americanos em 26 de maio último, batendo o recorde de bilheteria já na primeira semana de exibição. Trata-se da sequência do clássico Top Gun: Ases Indomáveis, lançado em 1986. Ambas versões são protagonizadas por Tom Cruise.

O filme foi criticado por lacradores do politicamente correto por ser "másculo de mais". Porém, as sessões lotadas no lançamento parecem uma contundente resposta do público, o que quer dizer alguma coisa. 

Ora, vamos aos fatos então. Ou melhor, à crítica  feminista sobre o filme, por assim dizer. O que quer dizer "másculo de mais"? É possível acontecer de um homem ser machista demais, mas nunca macho em demasia, a menos que o politicamente 'correto' queira nos impor o limite de ser apenas homem de 'menos', quando muito. Mas isso já irá de encontro aos direitos das mulheres, que já estão indignadas com a concorrência desleal, tanto nos esportes quanto nas passarelas.

Não adianta tentar nos impor a ideia de que o normal agora é anormal, e o anormal normal. O sucesso de Top Gun: Maverick já prenuncia, mais uma vez, o que acontecerá com quem ousar investir em cinema com historinhas de lacração ao invés de pura diversão: não vai lucrar, mas engolir prejuízos retumbantes.

Para finalizar, repito: masculinidade nunca será de mais, pois, ou se é másculo ou não, não existe meio termo. Estou falando inclusive de coisas como caráter e integridade. Essas coisas nunca serão excedentes em um homem. As mulheres de verdade que o digam. Há, eu vou assistir esse filme!

Top Gun: Maverick opened in US theaters on May 26, breaking the box office record in its first week. It is the sequel to the classic Top Gun, released in 1986. Both versions are carried out by Tom Cruise.

The film was criticized by political correctness makers for being "too manly". However, the packed sessions at launch seem like a blunt audience response, which is saying something. 

Well, let's get to the facts then. Or rather, the feminist critique of the film, so to speak. What does "too masculine" mean? It is possible for a man to be too sexist, but never too macho, unless the politically 'correct' wants to impose the limit of being just a 'less' man, at most. But this will already go against the rights of women, who are already outraged by unfair competition, both in sports and on the catwalks.

It's no use trying to impose on us the idea that the normal is now abnormal, and the abnormal is normal. The success of Top Gun: Maverick already foreshadows, once again, what will happen to those who dare to invest in cinema with sealing* stories instead of pure fun: they will not profit, but swallow resounding losses.

Finally, I repeat: masculinity will never be too much, because, whether you are a man or not, there is no middle ground. I'm even talking about things like character and integrity. These things will never be surplus to a man. Real women say so. Ha, I'm going to watch this movie!
