As inacreditáveis perguntas do Censo 2022/The unbelievable questions of the 2022 Census

Ontem fui entrevistado por uma agente do IBGE responsável por colher dados do Censo Demográfico 2022. O fato é que moro em um condomínio, de um bairro nobre da cidade, e fiquei impressionado com o questionário.

A moça me perguntou coisas do tipo: se eu bebia água de cisterna, ou encanada, e se havia esgoto no meu bairro para drenar os dejetos; eu disse: bem, eu moro com as mesmas condições dos outros moradores desse condomínio que a senhora já entrevistou. 

Depois a funcionária me indagou sobre minha cor e raça. Então maroto mandei: 'sou de cútis branca, e raça humana!' Sobre qual seria minha religião, nada. Só obviedades, como perguntar também se eu me considerava índio, e eu disse: 'Não!', já com a tranquilidade de quem precisa manter a  calma. Ainda bem que não perguntou qual seria o meu gênero.

Parece brincadeira, mas foi exatamente o que aconteceu. Mas não adiantaria eu questionar a entrevistadora sobre o absurdo das perguntas, pois sei que não foi ela quem elaborou o questionário. Ela só estava cumprindo o seu papel.

The unbelievable questions of the 2022 Census

Yesterday I was interviewed by an IBGE agent responsible for collecting data from the 2022 Demographic Census. The fact is that I live in a condominium, in an upscale neighborhood of the city, and I was impressed with the questionnaire. 

The girl asked me things like: if I drank water from the cistern, or piped, and if there was a sewer in my neighborhood to drain the waste; I said: well, I live under the same conditions as the other residents of this condominium that you have already interviewed. 

Then the employee asked me about my color and race. So naughty I sent: 'I'm white-skinned, and human race!' About what my religion would be, nothing. Just obvious things, like asking if I considered myself an Indian, and I said: 'No!', already with the tranquility of someone who needs to remain calm. I'm glad you didn't ask what my gender would be.

It sounds like a joke, but that's exactly what happened. But it wouldn't do for me to question the interviewer about the absurdity of the questions, because I know she wasn't the one who prepared the questionnaire. She was just fulfilling her role.
