A Ciência do Milagre/Miracle Science

Características. No meu entender, milagre é simplesmente o que acontece no momento em que o Criador, por graça ou misericórdia, se conecta com a criatura. O que pode acontecer de forma natural, sobrenatural, individual ou coletiva. 

Por exemplo, a própria manutenção da vida em si no mundo e, em particular, a concepção de um bebê no ventre materno são evidências de um milagre natural(Lm 03:22,23). De um modo muito especial, o caso de Maria que ainda virgem concebeu a Jesus, por obra e graça do Espírito Santo, foi um milagre sobrenatural(Lc 01:26-35).

Na Bíblia há diversos outros relatos de milagres. A travessia do Mar Vermelho pelos Hebreus foi um evento milagroso sobrenatural e coletivo(Ex 14:21,22). Há propósito, tenho razões para crer que o poderio econômico, social e militar do minúsculo Estado de Israel, e a milenar existência da nação judaica, constituem um milagre imaterial, natural e coletivo que salta aos olhos de qualquer bom Historiador. 

A conversão de Saulo foi um curioso exemplo do tipo individual e imaterial de milagre, porque mudou a direção de sua vida  em 360 graus, o que significou transformar a pessoa do maior opositor dos cristãos no mais ardoroso pregador  do Evangelho(At 09:01-22). 

Propósito Divino. Muitas pessoas ficam ansiosas por um milagre, mas Jesus diz que não devemos ficar ansiosos por coisa alguma(Mt 06:25-34). Há quem peça uma grandiosa benção a Deus com receita e tudo: "Deus, eu quero assim e assado"; à espera de algo que nunca vai acontecer. 

Deus é quem determina a necessidade, a forma e o tempo de intervir extraordinariamente na vida dos homens, em diversos propósitos. A Bíblia relata que movido de compaixão Jesus trouxe de volta à vida seu amigo Lázaro(Jo 11:32-44) e o jovem de Naim(Lc 07:11-14); tais eventos diferem em alcance e significado da sua própria Ressurreição. Essa foi realizada pelo Deus Pai, com o intuito de glorificar o Filho(At 02:24). 

Com característica sobrenatural e individual, o episódio da ressurreição de Cristo constituiu-se no maior milagre da História, o que confirmou as profecias bíblicas e tudo o que Jesus disse antes de sua morte na Cruz do Calvário(Lc 24:26,27).

Casado com a Fé.  No que se refere à reação a um milagre, é imprescindível que os envolvidos não hesitem em acreditar, pois o milagre e a fé se complementam. Quanto maior for a fé, maior será o milagre. Nunca será um fenômeno fruto do acaso, ainda que digam que foi por sorte ou coincidência. 

Até as pequenas ações do cotidiano requerem do indivíduo a certeza natural de poder realizá-las. Sem fé ninguém levanta da cama. Não basta ter pés e pernas saudáveis, precisamos acreditar que podemos andar(I Tes. 05:18). Esse é o tipo de milagre natural que é internalizado na consciência das pessoas, desde a tenra idade; mas que não é muito diferente da cura de coxos e aleijados, por exemplo. Essa é uma exceção a regra, mas o poder da fé é o mesmo.

Sermos receptivos a um milagre é mais espiritualmente producente do que esperar por ele.   Todo milagre se completa na fé de suas testemunhas, sem ela não passamos de curiosos espectadores. 

Não bastou ao discípulo Tomé ouvir o depoimento de todos os seus colegas, e ver Jesus ressurreto, teve contudo que conferir as marcas de ferimento nas mãos do Senhor para finalmente acreditar, enquanto muitos nem precisaram ver para crer(Jo 20:24-29).

Independente de suas formas de manifestação, o milagre sempre será a coroação de toda prova de fé, em pequenas ou grandes ações; ordinárias ou extraordinárias; ao alcance de todo o que crê de modo perseverante em Deus, em meio às dificuldades, pois nada é impossível ao Altíssimo(Hb 10:38). 

Ter Jesus Cristo na mente e no coração, como Senhor e Salvador, referência maior em nossa vida, já é um milagre; e, por sua vez, um testemunho concreto do poder de Deus, cujo objetivo é gerar mais milagres no coração e na vida de todos quantos crerem(Mc 16: 15,16).

Miracle Science

Features. In my understanding, a miracle is simply what happens when the Creator, by grace or mercy, connects with the creature. Which can happen naturally, supernaturally, individually or collectively. 

For example, the very maintenance of life in the world and in particular the conception of a baby in the mother's womb are evidence of a natural miracle (Lm 03:22,23). In a very special way, the case of Mary who, while still a virgin, conceived Jesus, through the work and grace of the Holy Spirit, was a supernatural miracle (Luke 1:26-35). 

In the Bible there are several other reports of miracles. The crossing of the Red Sea by the Hebrews was a supernatural and collective miraculous event (Ex 14:21,22). By the way, I have reasons to believe that the economic, social and military power of the tiny State of Israel, and the millennial existence of the Jewish nation, constitute an immaterial, natural and collective miracle that stands out to any good Historian. 

Saul's conversion was a curious example of the individual and immaterial type of miracle, because it changed the direction of his life by 360 degrees, which meant transforming the person from the greatest opponent of Christians into the most ardent preacher of the Gospel (Acts 09:01- 22).

Divine Purpose. Many people are anxious about a miracle, but Jesus says that we should not be anxious about anything (Mt 06:25-34). There are those who ask God for a great blessing with a recipe and everything: "God, I want it this way and that way"; waiting for something that will never happen. 

God is the one who determines the need, form and time to intervene extraordinarily in the lives of men, for different purposes. The Bible reports that moved with compassion Jesus brought back to life his friend Lazarus (John 11:32-44) and the young man from Nain (Lc 07:11-14); such events differ in scope, and meaning, from his own Resurrection. This was carried out by God the Father, with the intention of glorifying the Son (At 02:24). 

With a supernatural and individual characteristic, the episode of Christ's resurrection constituted the greatest miracle in history, which confirmed the biblical prophecies and everything that Jesus said before his death on the Cross of Calvary (Lc 24:26,27).

Married to Faith. When it comes to reacting to a miracle, it is essential that those involved do not hesitate to believe, as the miracle and faith complement each other. The greater the faith, the greater the miracle. It will never be a phenomenon resulting from chance, even if they say it was by luck or coincidence. 

Even small everyday actions require the individual to have the natural certainty of being able to carry them out. Without faith, no one gets out of bed. It is not enough to have healthy feet and legs, we need to believe that we can walk (I Thess. 05:18). Without faith, no one gets out of bed. This is the kind of natural miracle that is internalized into people's consciousness from a young age; but it is not very different from the healing of lame and crippled people, for example. This is an exception to the rule, although the power of faith is the same. 

Being receptive to a miracle is more spiritually productive than waiting for it. Every miracle is completed in the faith of its witnesses, without it we are nothing more than curious spectators. 

It wasn't enough for the disciple Thomas to hear the testimony of all his colleagues, and see Jesus resurrected, he had to see the wound marks on the Lord's hands to finally believe, while many didn't even need to see to believe (John 20:24-29).

Regardless of its forms of manifestation, the miracle will always be the crowning achievement of every test of faith, in small or large actions; ordinary or extraordinary; within the reach of everyone who perseveringly believes in God, in the midst of difficulties, for nothing is impossible with the Most High (Heb 10:38). 

Having Jesus Christ in our minds and hearts, as Lord and Savior, the greatest reference in our lives, is already a miracle; and, in turn, a concrete testimony to the power of God, whose objective is to generate more miracles in the hearts and lives of all who believe(Mk 16: 15,16).
