Rio Grande do Sul

 

O Rio Grande do Sul é o estado que mais admiro, desde a minha adolescência. Sou impressionado por sua importante participação nos episódios mais decisivos da história do Brasil, a valentia e coragem do seu povo. No futebol, na literatura, na política, os gaúchos são incríveis. Eu já disse algumas vezes: se não fosse baiano, eu queria ser gaúcho. "Gaúcho" é chique, nobre e varonil. 

Hoje eu chorei o dia todo pelo que está acontecendo no Rio  Grande do Sul. Casos envolvendo crianças sobreviventes e mortas, é o que mais me dói. Os brasileiros dos outros estados precisam orar e enviar ajuda ao estado. 

Eu não preciso imaginar que amanhã catástrofe também possa acontecer com a Bahia; porque algo inerente ao ser humano nessas ocasiões é sofrer só de pensar no sofrimento que o outro está passando agora, isso por conta de que somos todos uma raça, sujeitos aos mesmos infortúnios, por isso de natureza solidária. 

Eu sei que o Brasil vai se unir e mostrar a sua grandeza, empenhado em levantar o Rio Grande do Sul, de modo que não venha faltar nada aos gaúchos, para continuar vivendo e fazendo história, como se um belo milagre nacional houvesse acontecido em seu favor. Deus salve nossos irmãos gaúchos!

Rio Grande do Sul is the state that I have admired most since I was a teenager. I am impressed by your important participation in the most decisive episodes in the history of Brazil, the bravery and courage of your people. Brazilians in other states need to pray and send help to the state. 

I don't need to imagine that tomorrow a catastrophe could also happen to Bahia; because something inherent to the human being on these occasions is to suffer just thinking about the suffering that the other is going through now, because we are all one race, subject to the same misfortunes, therefore of a supportive nature. 

I know that Brazil will unite and show its greatness, committed to lifting Rio Grande do Sul, so that the people of Rio Grande do Sul will not lack anything, to continue living and making history, as if a beautiful national miracle had happened in their country. favor. God save our brothers from Rio Grande do Sul!
