Neste último dia do ano, desejo a mim e a todos os meus amigos, algo que é muito simples e salutar, especialmente para nosso espírito, que é a consciência de que passamos por mudanças superficiais e profundas, no decorrer de todos os dias do ano, não apenas do primeiro. Aqueles mesmos dias que costumamos às vezes contar no calendário da memória, ou na tela do celular.

Sabedores de que mudamos constantemente, e até mais do que imaginamos, estejamos conscientes de que somos também agentes primeiros de nossas decisões e escolhas diárias, por mais insignificantes que pareçam, porque daí advém consequências duradoras e cruciais. 

Que aprendamos, portanto, no silêncio de nossos corações, quão substancialmente semelhantes são, por exemplo, os primeiros e ducentésimo dias do ano. Sem qualquer tipo de ansiedade que possa assaltar o nosso espírito neste dia de Réveillon, sintamos o quanto eles são maravilhosamente iguais, na realidade, apesar de a último e primeira data serem sempre usadas como pretexto para comemoração, independentemente do nosso estado de espírito.

  

Que seja pois uma oportunidade para que o principal desejo acalentado em nossos corações redunde em permitir simplesmente que Deus, nosso Criador e Pai Eterno, more em nossos corações, para que Seu Espírito Santo nos oriente em todas as nossas escolhas e decisões do ano que se avizinha, a fim de que, em cada anônimo dia do calendário, sintamos em nossos corações o conforto de quem está vivendo um recorte da Eternidade, em que a mão do Altíssimo nos sustém  perante todas as nossas reais necessidades.

Cutting from Eternity

On this last day of the year 2022, I wish me and all my friends, so that we understand something that is very simple and healthy, especially for our spirit, which is the awareness that we have gone through superficial and deep changes, in the course of our days, those same days of the year that we tend sometimes, count on the calendar in memory, or on the screen of cell phone.

Aware that we are constantly changing, and more than we even imagine, let us be aware that we are also the first agents of our daily decisions and choices, no matter how insignificant they seem to us, because this brings lasting, crucial, and often permanent consequences.

Let us learn, therefore, in the silence of our hearts, how substantially similar are, for example, the first and two hundredth days of the year. Without any kind of anxiety that can assault our spirit on this New Year's Eve, we can feel how wonderfully they are alike, as we can see in the truth. Despite the fact that the last and first day of the year are always used as a pretext for celebration, regardless of our state of mind, as I said.

May it be an opportunity for the main desire cherished in our hearts to simply allow God, our Creator and Eternal Father to dwell in our hearts, for His Holy Spirit to guide us in all our choices and decisions for the coming year. next door, so that on each anonymous calendar day we feel in our hearts the comfort of those who are living a slice of present Eternity, in which the hand of the Most High sustains us and will provide for all our real needs.
